WISER to receive largest one-time donation in its history

On the heels of one of the most challenging years in WISER’s history, WISER has received some news that will shape the future of WISER in incredible ways.

WISER has been chosen to receive a game-changing gift from Twitter and Square co-founder and CEO, Jack Dorsey, as part of the #StartSmall initiative. This is the largest one-time donation WISER has ever received.

WISER is among three beloved partner organizations serving women and girls in East Africa to receive this grant–all of whom were brought together by Michelle Obama’s girl’s education initiative, Girls Opportunity Alliance.

These funds will provide the much-needed administrative support for WISER to continue its unprecedented expansion: welcoming students as young as 12 to a campus with more educational and healthcare resources to help students thrive.

This remarkable opportunity for WISER is only possible because of the generosity, resilience, and attentiveness of our supporters. We are deeply honored that these trailblazers in the social impact space see in WISER what YOU have always seen in WISER: powerful impact and immense potential to change the lives of girls and their communities.

Join us in celebrating this remarkable step for WISER, and thank you for helping us achieve this milestone!
