The WISER team is happy to announce three new additions for 2018. In the US, we are excited to welcome Hardy Vieux and Frances Woodard to the WISER International Board, while in Kenya, the WISER NGO is proud to announce the hiring of new Program Officer Audrey Mugeni.

Hardy Vieux, J.D.
WISER International Board Member
Hardy joins the WISER International board as the Legal Director at Human Rights First and a Policymaker in Residence at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. He specializes in refugee and asylum-related matters in three major US cities. Hardy is a member of the board of visitors for Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and served on Duke University’s Board of Trustees from 1999-2013. He is also part of the board for the National Institute of Military Justice.
Frances Woodard
WISER International Board Member
Frances comes to WISER as the People Director for the Walton Family Foundation. With more than 20 years’ experience as a human resources executive, Frances has held key senior leadership roles with The One Campaign, ONE Economy Corporation, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Human Rights First. She is a Senior Professional of Human Resources (HRCI) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. A graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, Frances also possesses an advanced degree in Human Resources Management.
Audrey Mugeni
WISER NGO Program Officer
Audrey is an accomplished program management professional with years of experience managing gender justice programs in Kenya. She joins WISER after spending the past two years as the Programmes Officer for the Coalition on Violence Against Women (COVAW) in Kwale, Kenya. After studying social work at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Audrey led programmatic efforts across Kenya with Life Skills Promoters (LISP), The National Empowerment Network of People living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya (NEPHAK), and WECREATE Kenya.
We are thrilled to have had these talented individuals join WISER in the first half of 2018 and we look forward to working with them to continue growing WISER’s impact.
