The WISER School

Our Founding Principles

The WISER school serves as the catlyzing focal point to community development programs dedicated to improving economic, health and educational outcomes for girls in the village.

1. Girls can LIVE WISER
   The new 7-acre WISER campus, overlooking Lake Victoria, provides the first source of clean drinking water, internet connectivity, and private, personal hygiene facilities in the region. The WISER School is committed to breaking down the financial barriers that prevent most girls from attending school by providing full financial aid to all students in need, with 30% of the school population being AIDS orphans.
2. Girls can LEARN WISER
   The WISER School employs high performing teachers across Kenya and has hired the first female Principal in the area to serve as a powerful role model to the girls.
3. Girls can BE WISER
   The WISER School equips students with the confidence, skill set and knowledge needed for post-secondary opportunities in higher education and job markets. WISER girls strive to graduate as self-reliant women leaders prepared to make an impact in their world.
